I got to renew my friendship with Deloris, who was in my homeroom our senior year, when I did a 3-1/2 year stint as adjunct faculty in the music department at WKU.She was the secretary for the music department and we got to know each other as adults. She was so kind and helpful, and loved by all the music students as well as the faculty. Today was her funeral and I got to be a part of the choir who sang a beautiful anthem for her entitled "In Remembrance". She is no longer suffering and is in the presence of the Lord. I'm so glad I got to be a part of her life again.
